It has been wonderful to be involved in supporting the development and implementation of PGR StudentSurvey.ie.

Added to the suite of StudentSurvey.ie data, it ensures a comprehensive picture of third level students in Ireland.

The impressive and growing response rate to the PGR survey, hopefully reflecting PGR students’ desire to have a voice, reinforces the importance of its inclusion in StudentSurvey.ie data collection and analysis.

It also ensures that the information gathered is positioned to inform developments in the sector, for the benefit of all PGR students. The report highlights the diversity of experience evident among PGR students, including those in large and small institutions, studying full and part time, at masters and doctoral level, from across multiple fields of study.

On behalf of the PGR Working Group, we hope that the feedback provided by the cohort of students provides colleagues in the sector with a strong basis for reflection and innovation.
